 support of Room to Read’s Book Publishing Program by organizing an e
 vent in your town or just join us for the cause!\nWe'll be kicking the
  month off with our popular Booktoberfest event and closing it with Be
 ers for BOOks Halloween parties around the world.  Here's your chance
  to organize a fun seasonal event and get together with friends for ch
 ildhood literacy.\nBooktoberfest, modeled after the famous German harv
 est festival, is simply a chance to have a great time in a local pub/b
 ar/outdoor space with $1 from every drink sold funding a local languag
 e book for children in 10 countries supported by Room to Read.  Just 
 find a friendly venue and get promoting.  It can't get much easier th
 an that.\nBeers for BOOks takes a bit more planning/effort, but it has
  quickly become one of the most fun nights out of the year for book lo
 vers.  Why?  Because they can dress up as their favorite literary ch
 aracters for Halloween and get super creative all while supporting Roo
 m to Read \"B4B style\".\nOr, if organizing a big event is not your th
 ing, we encourage you to do something fun and creative to raise funds 
 during Booktober for Room to Read's Book Publishing Program.  \nFor i
