In the last 3 years B4B events have funded over 137,000 books for kids and we've had events in 10 cou ntries around the world. We'll be at the recently-opened Bubby's New York in Ark Hills, home of the best pies n' burgers in town and a grea t place for a party. This special event is another chance to have a g ood time with friends, fund lots of books, and celebrate past accompli shments while looking forward to big things ahead. We hope that you an d your friends can join us. For those of you new to Beers for Books, the concept is simple: For every drink you have 100 yen will be donate d to Room to Read and that buys a treasured book for children via Room to Read's local language publishing program. Room to Read is an amaz ing NPO whose mission is to provide quality educational opportunities to children in developing countries with the goal of empowering kids v ia literacy.
