B4B @ Blind Lady Ale House in San Diego

The Room to Read San Diego Chapter invites you to join them at long-time Beers for Books supporter Blind Lady Ale House's 3rd (!!!) annual Beers for Books event. BLAH is one of San Diego's finest craft beer bars and a pioneering supporter of B4B. They donate ALL DAY from 11:30AM to Midnight.

For those of you new to Beers for Books, the concept is simple: For every drink you buy The Blarney Stone donates $1 to Room to Read and that buys a treasured book for children via Room to Read's local language publishing program.

For this all day event, BLAH is kindly donating 15% from all beer and food purchases and the Room to Read volunteers will be collecting additional donations from a raffle drawing for some fun prizes.

Room to Read is an amazing NPO whose mission is to provide quality educational opportunities to children in developing countries with the goal of empowering kids via literacy and gender equality in education. Room to Read has projects in 9 countries in Asia and Africa including Nepal, Cambodia, Zambia, etc. For more details see www.roomtoread.org.
