Please join the New York City Chapter of Room to Read for Beers for Books at SNAP Sports Bar

For those of you new to Beers for Books, the concept is simple: For every drink you have, $1 will be donated to Room to Read and that buys a treasured book for children via Room to Read.

For this one, the NYC Chapter is requesting a $20 donation at the door, 100% of which goes to Room to Read (funding 20 books) and you get a free drink compliments of SNAP Sports Bar.

Room to Read is an amazing NPO whose mission is to provide quality educational opportunities to children in developing countries with the goal of empowering kids via literacy. Room to Read has projects in 9 countries in Asia and Africa including Nepal, Cambodia, Zambia, etc. For more details see www.roomtoread.org.
