Please join us at the legendary and mysterious Amazon Club hidden in the heart of Yokohama for a all-you-can-eat-and-drink craft beer Beers for Books extravaganza all for a great cause.
Organized by Rye Beville and his crew at Yokohama Seasider, the Amazon Club will host the event featuring some of the Japan and the world's greatest craft beer ("jibiiru") paired with foods to complement the beers.  
This is an event specifically for people who love great beer and people who'd like to learn more about finely crafted brews.  Ry is also the publisher of Japan Beer Times ( and there will be plenty of beer geeks on hand to help you select, taste, and enjoy a beer that suits your palate. 
IMPORTANT:  This is event requires prepayment of 5000 yen for all you can eat/drink.  For all the critical details see:
For those of you new to Beers for Books, the concept is simple: For every drink you have, 100 yen will be donated to Room to Read and that buys a treasured book for children via Room to Read.
Room to Read is an amazing NPO whose mission is to provide quality educational opportunities to children in developing countries with the goal of empowering kids via literacy. Room to Read has projects in 9 countries in Asia and Africa including Nepal, Cambodia, Zambia, etc. For more details see or in Japanese
