Event Description

The first ever Beers for Books event in the U.S. will be at downtown San Diego's oldest bar--Tivoli Bar. Come on out and have a beer in the same place Wyatt Earp drank in the 1890's and create a treasured book for a child. Help us make history in this historical bar. There are pool tables for you pool sharks, Sweet 16 on the tube, and plenty of tasty brews on tap.

There is no charge to attend this event. All you have to do is show up and have a good time and the bar will set aside $1 from each beer you enjoy and give it to Room to Read. $1 buys one book for a child in Nepal, Cambodia, Zambia, etc.
