Beers for Books @ Field & Sea Beach House in Zushi

Wanna play hooky (take a "ずるやすみ") on Friday, July 30th? Well, the kind folks at Field & Sea Beach House have agreed to donate 100 yen on every drink they sell ALL DAY, from 8AM - 9PM to Room to Read, with each drink creating a treasured book for kids.

Even if you can make it out to the beach during the day, we'll be going till 9PM, so you can leave work early and catch the sunset on the beach for a great cause.

Room to Read is an amazing NPO whose mission is to provide quality educational opportunities to children in developing countries with the goal of empowering kids via literacy. Room to Read has projects in 9 countries in Asia and Africa including Nepal, Cambodia, Zambia, etc. For more details see www.roomtoread.org or in Japanese www.roomtoread.jp.

This one will be really low-key, no raffles, etc. just a cool place that is supporting B4B and Room to Read one day out of their short summer season. If you're nearby (or want to take a road trip) stop of by Field & Sea Beach House on July 30th on the beautiful Zushi Beach.
