Beers for Books St. Louis, MO

This is the first Beers for Books event in St. Louis.

Beers for Books is a fun event to raise money for Room to Read, a charity dedicated to childhood literacy in developing countries.

Room to Read was founded in 1999 by former Microsoft executive John Wood. Room to Read’s mission is to break the cycle of poverty by focusing on children’s education.
Room to Read builds schools and libraries, provides girls’ scholarships, and publishes high-quality local language books which help kids read

Beer for Books raises money for books, one beer at a time. During Beers for Books night the bar/restaurant takes one dollar from each drink sold and donates that money to Room to Read.
