Beers for Books @ Union Ale in Santa Barbara

Beers for Books is coming to Santa Barbara! We'll be launching Beers for Books at Union Ale, one of SB's newest craft beer venues, with plenty of quality beers on tap plus a full bar on lower Sate Street.

B4B is a great chance for the fine people of the American Riviera to create books via Room to Read for kids in developing countries while having a good time.

For those of you new to Beers for Books, the concept is simple: For every drink you have, (all drinks!) $1 will be donated to Room to Read and that buys a treasured book for children via Room to Read.

Room to Read is an amazing NPO whose mission is to provide quality educational opportunities to children in developing countries with the goal of empowering kids via literacy and gender equality in education. Room to Read has projects in 9 countries in Asia and Africa including Nepal, Cambodia, Zambia, etc. For more details see www.roomtoread.org.
