This is a hands-on workshop for people who want to master LinkedIn. The organizers and Suji's has kindly offered to support Room to Read via Beers for Books by donating 100 yen on all drinks consumed during the night. Two drinks are included with admission and additional drinks are sold at the bar and all drinks create a treasured high-quality local language book for kids.
The workshop will be lead by Neal Schaffer, author of "Windmill Networking: Understanding, Leveraging & Maximizing LinkedIn" who will help you understand and use LinkedIn for your ongoing professional development.
For those of you new to Beers for Books, the concept is simple: For every drink you have, 100 yen will be donated to Room to Read and that buys a treasured high-quality local language book for children via Room to Read.
Room to Read is an amazing NPO whose mission is to provide quality educational opportunities to children in developing countries with the goal of empowering kids via literacy and gender equality in education. Room to Read has projects in 9 countries in Asia and Africa including Nepal, Cambodia, Zambia, etc. For more details see www.roomtoread.org or in Japanese www.roomtoread.jp.
IMPORTANT NOTE: This will not be a typical B4B "event" with lots of people, raffles, etc. The focus will be on the Social Sui Yoobi workshop with B4B added as a special feature. A big thanks to Michael, Suji's and the rest of the Social Sui Yoobi crew for supporting!
The focus will be on answering YOUR questions and giving you a step by step way to make the most of Linked In.
