Bands for Books iShonan Charity Concert

Here's a fun twist on B4B--Bands for Books.

For this year's Enoshima charity concert, the kind folks at iShonan have decided to donate the net proceeds from the event to support Room to Read's local language publishing program so that every 100 yen raised creates a book for kids in one of 8 countries (Nepal, India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Cambodia, Vietnam, Laos, or South Africa).

They've scheduled 6 bands and 3 entertainers with something for everybody, including my favorite Tokyo-based feel good rock and blues band, The Moonshots.

Tickets are 2500 yen for adults in advance (3000 yen at door) Elementary/Jr. High Students 1000 yen (1500 door). For details see:
