Beers for Books in NYC!

The New York City Chapter of Room to Read is organizing the city's first ever Beers for Books event on Tuesday, April 27th from 7-9pm at Public House!

Beers for Books enthusiastically supports Room to Read, an amazing NPO whose mission is to provide quality educational opportunities to children in developing countries with the goal of empowering kids via literacy. Room to Read has projects in 9 countries in Asia and Africa including Nepal, Cambodia, Zambia, etc. For more details see www.roomtoread.org.

There will be a $15 cover charge for the event with $3 beer, $4 wine and $5 mix drink specials.

Great news -- Room to Read has secured a donor who will match dollar-for-dollar -- up to $10,000! -- the contributions raised at the event. We hope you and your beer (or literacy!) loving friends will join us for drinks for a great cause!
