Beers for Books w/John Wood @ The Surly Goat in LA

Please join the Room to Read Los Angeles Chapter for a very special Beers for Books.

Room to Read Founder and Board Chair John Wood, will be joining us and will sign copies of Leaving Microsoft to Change the World and his new children’s book, Zak the Yak. We will have another special guest as well - brewer Tomme Arthur from the famous Lost Abbey Brewery!

This one is at the recently opened The Surly Goat, a craft beer bar in West Hollywood. They've got an amazing selection of beers on tap http://www.surlygoat.com/onTap.php and a full bar too.

For those of you new to Beers for Books, the concept is simple: For every drink you have, $1 will be donated to Room to Read and that buys a treasured book for children via Room to Read.

Room to Read is an amazing NPO whose mission is to provide quality educational opportunities to children in developing countries with the goal of empowering kids via literacy and gender equality in education.
