Japan vs. S. Africa B4B Friendly

UPDATE 11/14: TV TOKYO has chosen NOT to broadcast this game live. Instead they will show their normal cheezy variety and entertainment shows at their regular times and start the broadcast at 23:50. Apologies for this. Anyway, we'll go on with the party!

Come on out to cheer for your favorite team, or just come out to have a good friendly time at the Japan vs. South Africa football friendly match on Saturday, November 14th.

We'll be at the World Star Cafe in central Roppongi until final whistle Saturday. The stadium has been moved three times in South Africa and the kickoff has been moved back to 10:30PM (changed--see above) so this will be a great way for you all-night partyers to start the evening.

They'll have the place set up with a large screen in the main hall and more screens throughout the venue for your "viewing party" enjoyment.We'll also have some early evening entertainment to get you all fired up before the match.

For those of you new to B4B, the concept is simple: For every drink you have, 100 yen will be donated to Room to Read and that buys a treasure book for children. For this event each drink will create a book for kids in South Africa. Have a drink, create a book!

Breaking news...we'll be celebrating passing the 25,000 book mark since launching Beers for Books in February 2009. Who knows, maybe you'll be the lucky one to drink the 25,000 book beer?

We'll be having a fun raffle drawing at 11PM AND we'll be giving some prizes for "team spirit" (i.e. prizes go to those who dress up in their team colors and show some enthusiasm...).

No matter who wins the match, the kids in South Africa are guaranteed winners and so are you for helping support them. See you there!
