Beers for Books Team Trivia Night @ Hobgoblin in Roppongi

Trust me on this--a well-run pub charity quiz is one of the most fun and unique ways to spend a night out with friends in Tokyo. I've been to a few of them at the Hobgoblin and they are a blast.

Thursday, June 21 we'll be at the Hobgoblin Roppongi for an evening of good clean fun with space for 20 teams of 4 - 6 people to compete against each other for prizes. If you can't get a foursome or more together, we welcome individuals and smaller groups and will put you on a friendly team. 

To register a team, please send an email to gary@robertleonard.jp and elliot@hobgoblin.jp with your team name and # of participants and we'll book your table. First come. first served.

Team captains need to register between 7-7:30PM and we start at 8PM SHARP. We'll have 5 categories and this one has been designed for everyone so having a mixed team (including Japanese or long-term residents) is encouraged but not necessary.

Entry is 3,000 yen per person with 2,000 yen of that being donated to Room to Read and including 2 drinks. Additional drinks will donate an additional 100 yen Beers for Books style.

For those of you new to Beers for Books, the concept is simple: For every drink you have,100 yen will be donated to Room to Read and that buys a treasured high-quality local language book for children. We'll also be featuring a fun raffle to fund additional books for kids.

Room to Read is an amazing NPO whose mission is to provide quality educational opportunities to children in developing countries with the goal of empowering kids via literacy and gender equality in education.
