You can buy Jever in the bottle at Nissin Intl where for Y252/bottle it's a great value. But try it on tap up at Berndt's Bar (but beware, this venue can get smoky in which case the hoppy accents might get lost).
Oh yeah, Pilsner Urquell is the 5-star, gold standard for pilsners. Try it on tap, at the source, and it reaches beyond 5-star. But, try Germany's Jever, if you have not already, and see if it's comparable.
