IUJ graduate students who lead the Global Concerns Club on campus, will host the first Beer for Books event on campus.

With students from most of the countries touched by the Beer for Books program represented on the IUJ campus, students are excited to use a Happy Hour gathering for such a good cause. The IUJ event will take place right after a talk to our graduating group about Alumni services.

“We hope to ride on our soon-to-graduate groups’ excitement and expectations for their big graduation day to bring great success for the children around the world who just want the chance to hold a good book” said Gretchen Shinoda, Director of the Alumni Relations programs at IUJ.

Stanley Currier, the student co-organizer of the Global Concerns Club, and the B4B event added "The Global Concerns Club is always looking for innovative ways to mobilize students and highlight our responsibilities to world communities. We are honored to host this Beer for Books event and look forward to a great turn out!"
