Bubby's for Books: Celebrating 3 Years of B4B

Please join us on Saturday, June 2nd to celebrate the 3 year anniversary of Beers for Books since it launch in Tokyo in 2009. In the last 3 years B4B events have funded over 137,000 books for kids and we've had events in 10 countries around the world.

We'll be at the recently-opened Bubby's New York in Ark Hills, home of the best pies n' burgers in town and a great place for a party.

This special event is another chance to have a good time with friends, fund lots of books, and celebrate past accomplishments while looking forward to big things ahead. We hope that you and your friends can join us.

For those of you new to Beers for Books, the concept is simple: For every drink you have 100 yen will be donated to Room to Read and that buys a treasured book for children via Room to Read's local language publishing program.

Room to Read is an amazing NPO whose mission is to provide quality educational opportunities to children in developing countries with the goal of empowering kids via literacy. Room to Read has projects in 10 countries in Asia and Africa including Nepal, Cambodia, Zambia, etc. For more details see www.roomtoread.org or in Japanesewww.roomtoread.jp.

There is no cost to join the event but we'll have a 1000 yen suggested donation at the door which gets you three raffle tickets for the raffle prize drawing and your donation will fund 10 books for kids.

6月2日（土）にBeers for Booksの発足3周年を記念し、イベントを開催致します。B4Bは2009年に東京で初めて開催して以来、3年間で137,000冊を超える児童図書の購入資金を援助し、世界10か国でイベントを開催して参りました。

今回は、六本木アークヒルズに最近オープンしたBubby’s New Yorkにて行います。Bubby’s New Yorkは、アメリカの懐かしの家庭料理を提供するパイとハンバーガーの専門店で、パーティーに打ってつけの会場です。

このイベントに参加してご友人と楽しい時間を過ごし、たくさんの書籍を子供達に提供しましょう。そして、今後の益々の発展を願いつつ、これまでの支援達成を祝しましょう。是非、ご友人もお誘いの上、ご参加下さい。ご友人の方々にも是非、お知り合いにご参加をお勧め頂ければと思います。

初めてご参加の皆様、Beers for Booksのコンセプトは至ってシンプルです。

あなたがお飲物を一杯楽しむ毎に100円ほど、NPO法人ルーム・トゥ・リード（Room to Read）に寄付されます。これを、当法人が実施する現地語図書の出版支援プログラムを通じて、子供達に貴重な書籍の購入に役立てております。

ルーム・トゥ・リードは、発展途上国の子供達に良質な教育の機会を提供し、識字率の向上を通じて彼らに活力を与えることを目指す非営利団体です。当団体は、ネパール・カンボジア・ザンビアを含むアジア・アフリカ10か国にて事業を展開しております。詳細につきましては、www.roomtoread.org（英語サイト）またはwww.roomtoread.jp（日本語サイト）をご覧下さい。

イベント参加料はございませんが、今回のイベント内で実施するくじ引き3口分と子供達への書籍10冊分の寄付金として、会場入口にて1,000円ほど頂戴できましたら幸甚です。
