Beers for Books @ Theory in Chicago

The Room to Read Chicago Chapter invites you to join them for their 4th Beers for Books event, this one at Theory, a cozy upscale sports lounge that was recently voted "Best New Restaurant" by the River North Association.

For those of you new to Beers for Books, the concept is simple: For every domestic beer, well drink, or house red/white wine purchased, Theory will donate $1 to Room to Read and that buys a treasured book for children via Room to Read's local language publishing program.

Room to Read is an amazing NPO whose mission is to provide quality educational opportunities to children in developing countries with the goal of empowering kids via literacy and gender equality in education. Room to Read has projects in 9 countries in Asia and Africa including Nepal, Cambodia, Zambia, etc. For more details see www.roomtoread.org or in Japanese www.roomtoread.jp.
