Booktoberfest @ Nakameguro Taproom

Please join us for this very special event hosted by Bryan and Sayuri Baird of Baird Beer at their Nakameguro Taproom in Tokyo!

You're in for a real treat as Baird Beer makes some of Japan's very best craft beer at their brewery in Numazu, Shizuoka and you'll get it on tap at its peak freshness.

For those of you new to B4B, the concept is simple: For every drink you have, 100 yen will be donated to Room to Read and that buys one treasured local-language book for kids in places like Nepal, Cambodia, Zambia, etc. Have a drink, create a book!

Bryan and Sayuri are parents of small children who understand the importance of early childhood education and they've kindly offered to support an ALL DAY Beers for Books event on October 11th! Come on out anytime between Noon and Midnight and create a book or three for the kids.

For "Booktoberfest", we'll be doing a bunch of fun and unique things for this event including:

* Book/CD/DVD sale 1PM - 6PM
* Kokoku Cup award ceremony 7PM
* Beer Quiz for Prizes - ALL DAY
* Guess the # of Hops Contest - ALL DAY
* And more surprises....

We'll also be raising a toast to reaching the 20,000 book milestone for B4B. We'll either be hitting 20K on the night or we'll have reached it on October 1 in Madison, WI or Nagoya. Either way, its something worth celebrating.
